What May have Seemed Bad, Turned Good

It was snowing hard and our window I could see a stranger wandering door to door. So out of concern for the protection of the neighbourhood with the break and enters going on I called the police. While taking too dispatch I saw him walking by so I could give a full description. A little while later a police officer showed at our door thanking me for calling. Apparently the man that was wandering had Alzheimer's disease and was lost and disoriented. The police were able to get him home and the officer thanked me for calling it in. It just goes to show keeping your eyes open and calling the police can turn out to be a good thing. What may have been a robber was actually just a poor sick, lost man who needed some help. It warmed my heart that I was able to help in some way.
